From the 6th of June, Zanzibar has opened its borders to all travellers, enabling us to welcome back guests.
Now, more than ever it is important to have a safe and secure place to self-isolate. Social distance in luxury with your own private villa.
TRAVELING TO ZANZIBAR
We are pleased to confirm that flights have resumed with Turkish Airlines, Qatar Airways and Ethiopian airlines, as well as all domestic flights, into Zanzibar and Tanzania.
At this time:
- International travelers do NOT have to quarantine upon arrival.
- There is currently no requirement for guests to present a COVID-19 test certificate. It is understood that international airlines will already be screening passengers prior to boarding the long-haul flight to Tanzania.
- Travelers will be checked at the airport for COVID-19 symptoms by measuring their temperature.
- Travelers must have a valid health insurance.
- Travelers are encouraged to apply for online e-visas prior to arrival.
- NO case of coronavirus Infection was detected in our Property and its neighborhood and Zanzibar has been declared COVID-free since the 20th June.
- The Palm Residence is located in a quiet village away from the more congested Kendwa and Nungwi towns. This geographic context is an asset to ensure an intimate experience.

- All staff will wear mask and sanitize there hands regularly
- Staff will maintain strict social distancing
- Staff will be regularly screened by temperature check
- Mask and sanitizing kit for each guest and employee
- Meals can be pre-ordered to reduce waiting time
